I chose the brown ones - not sure if the black ones differ at all, but I LOVE the brown ones! After trying these boots on, I didn't try on another pair (and I've done a lot of boot shopping). These boots are SO comfortable, I didn't even want to take them off to put my own well-broken in shoes back on! They're made of such soft flexible leather - they move with you - no stiffness at all; even when you crouch down, the top doesn't fold down into your foot like most new boots do. It literally felt like these boots had been broken in by my own feet for years before I put them on. Maybe they were just a perfect fit for me, but I can't imagine such a nice flexible boot feeling any less comfortable for anyone else!

I was skeptical buying footwear on line but I needed a pair of boots for horse back riding so i thought I'd give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised, they slipped right on, fit perfectly and were so comfortable I didn't want to take them off. I would highly recommend this boot.

I've been wearing western boots for many years and this Durango boot is the most comfortable I've owned. I wore my last pair for at least 10 years and was very happy to find they continue to make this style number.

I ordered these boots online, in the size that I normally buy, a 7. But they were too small, it was really hard to get my foot in. Once I got my foot in, it wasn't unbearable, but it was pretty tight around the toes. Also, around the calf part of the boot, there wasn't much extra room and I wasn't able to fit my jeans inside... If you get these boots, I would suggest getting them a half size larger than what you really are. I really liked how they looked online, but when I got them they were a lot darker then I expected. They were more of a chocolate brown. It wasn't bad, just not really what I was looking for. But that's the risk in online shopping! (: These boots just weren't really for me...

I read the reviews and several people had said to order a size up. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe. I ordered a 9.5 in these boots. They are a little too big but super comfy. I got an arch support insert and now they are perfect. I've only worn them once so far and had several compliments that day!

Looks like a very nice pair of women boots, but we'll never know.

Ordered a pair of these for my wife for Christmas, they sat in my open orders for a couple of days and then they were gone. After a painful discussion with customer service, they informed me that the order was cancelled and to check my spam folder. I typically don't ever check my e-mail from Amazon, I usually do everything directly through the Amazon website itself. Sure enough there's a cancellation e-mail. But if I go back on Amazon to the boot I selected, it still says it's in stock and lets me order it again. Perhaps someone should take a minute and fix their on-hand inventory quantities so someone else doesn't count on getting a nice pair of boots for Christmas.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice these boots were. I wear an 8 1/2 and the fit was perfect and they didn't hurt my feet during the break in time. If you have wide feet, I suggest you get a size larger. I've had a lot of compliments on them.
