5.0 out of 5 stars Great Seasoning!
We used to buy this seasoning at our local Sam's club under the "Tone's Citrus Grill" name. Tone's & Durkee are owned by the same company so it was a no brainer when I found this product on Amazon as Sam's does not carry the Durkee brand and Tone's does not make it any more. Glad I found this on Amazon as we use this seasoning a lot!

3.0 out of 5 stars Durkee Citrus Grill Seasoning-Problem
I ordered 2 packs of 2, 18-ounce containers of this wonderful seasoning. One pack of 2 was fine but the second pack had one container that clearly did not have 18 ounces. There was only 14 ounces in the container. Was this a glitch in the process? If this is done on each order, then the company will make a lot more money.

I wonder if Durkee will contact...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Spice Mix!, December 6, 2008
This review is from: Durkee Citrus Grill Seasoning, 18-Ounce Containers (Pack of 2) (Grocery)
A well crafted spice mix. Not too salty; good citrus high notes with hints of dill and bell pepper. Mix 50-50 with a cajun spice mix and olive oil for a superb baked fish marinade! Wonderful for grilled vegetables too!

Folks are writing here that this is great on fish, poultry, veggies; this stuff is great on most anything! We sprinkle on rice (with oil or butter), on cottage cheese, potato salad, macaroni salad, on mac n' cheese, on baked (any style actually) potatoes, on eggs, on pork, on beef... rather than salt reach for this stuff. As others have mentioned, we can no longer find it at Sam's Club -- which was frustrating. This is an indispensable item in our kitchen.

Love this seasoning. Great on fish. They use to sell it at Sams Club, but not anymore. It's even cheaper on Amazon.

Great seasoning. So glad Amazon is carrying this product. First bought at Sam's club and really did like. They quit carrying it. Hope Amazon does not stop. My friend tried it and is ordering also.

5.0 out of 5 stars economical purchase, June 3, 2011

This economical source of Citrus Grill is excellent. It is the same as Jone's and much less costly. Since we use a lot of it, for all kinds of foods, salads as well as fish, etc., and since Jone's chooses to take theirs off the market from fall to spring, this is the perfect answer. We use it year round.

Great stuff ~

Try sprinkle on a green salad, it's delightful.

Mix it in orange juice for an outstanding glaze on chicken.

The best part about finding this great seasoning combo on Amazon is that you get 2 HUGE jars. I was going to give one to a friend but decided to keep both for myself and put in another order for her.

This citrus grill seasoning is the best stuff I have found for giving a great taste to white fish, in fact just about any fish, and chicken. Even my kids were crazy about it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent seasoning for fish or chicken, December 6, 2010

We used to buy this spice at Sa_'s Club and when they stopped carrying it - had given up. I even contacted the company, but with shipping charges, it seemed too expensive, but Amazon was cheaper with the free shipping, we're fans again. This is an excellent way to season chicken, fish, especially salmon. You don't even need time to marinade... Just pour the Citrus Grill on frozen chicken breasts and throw them on the bbq grill. Flip and season again. I cooked a batch for some coworkers a year ago and 5 ended up buying the seasoning for themselves. Your chicken will be every bit as good as restaurants... Fish is also excellent, again no prep time, just season and cook. Your guests will be amazed.

I've been using this seasoning for several years now and it is the very best for grilled chicken or fish. I also use it when I do a rotisserie chicken and when I do a stir-fry of fresh veggies (green beans sugar snap peas, broccoli, etc.) Getting very difficult to find, however, so when I found it on Amazon, ordered two large (18 oz.) containers!
