5.0 out of 5 stars Duro-Med shower tub stool review
This tub stool is perfect. I have a very small shower and this stool is small enough to fit in and it is comfortable and secure to sit on. I can't find one thing wrong with it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Duro-Med Shower Tub Stool
After 3 months rust stains caused by all 4 rubber feet. Rubber feet have a metal washer that rusts; it should be changed to brass or stainless steel. Everything else is Ok.
The manufacturer needs better quality control

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality and Value for the price, December 13, 2005

This tub stool arrived today and it took about 15 minutes to assemble it with only a philips screw driver. It is well made and appears to be very sturdy, and the locking system of the leg height adjustment is very secure. It looks better "in the flesh" than in the photos and I am extremely pleased with it.
And best of all, the price was right!

I bought this for my father who only has one leg to use in his shower/tub combo. He loves it. Esp. the height adjustment feature.

I had previously ordered shower stools that were more bench-shaped. But the legs always ended up warping from weight (even though I'm just average sized) and the stools ultimately ended up sagging and becoming uneven. However, after a few months of using this shower stool, I am optimistic that that will not happen due to the better-shaped design. I also like the size much better anyway, since my shower stall is not big. The stool is big enough for me to sit on comfortably, but doesn't take up a lot of space. It was fairly easy to put together. It's sturdy and it hasn't rusted. I am very happy with it.

i found this stool to be just the right height and size for a tub enclosed shower. It is constructed of top quality material and is very stable [I'm 5ft 8in and 150 lbs].

3.0 out of 5 stars great stool but rusting feet, November 29, 2010

This review is from: Duro-Med Shower Tub Stool (Health and Beauty)
I purchased this stool in May. I had a stress fracture in my leg and needed something to sit on in the shower. The stool was easy to assemble and quite sturdy. I loved this little stool and used it regularly even after my leg healed.

Today I noticed there were rust marks on the shower floor from the legs of the stool. I removed the rubber feet and discovered that the metal washers inside the feet were all rusted. A call to the company (customer service telephone number conveniently located on one of the legs) has resulted in a new stool being sent to me.

Before using the replacement stool I will have to look at the rubber feet and see if there is something that can be done to prevent the metal from rusting again.

If not for the rust I would give this little stool 5 stars.

I bought this small stool for use in my small tub/shower after foot surgery. Although it is small, my big caboose was quite comfortable on it. It's very lightweight and easy to move, yet stable. The recovery period is almost over, but I intend to keep the stool in the shower as it makes shaving legs so much easier.

A stable platform to bath on. My tub is narrow and this produt fit perfectly, even though the tub has a concaved bottom. Adjustable height makes this a plus as well. Easy to store once you have no need for it.
