5.0 out of 5 stars Good product for a good price
Looks good. It's compact - it folds up in a small plastic bag - which can fit in a purse. Easy to adjust.

2.0 out of 5 stars The label that won't let go
Functionally, the cane is fine. But one buys a floral cane for looks as well. When I took off the manufacturer's label, the paint came with it. I'll say this--the paint came off neatly and cleanly. There is now a neat white patch where the label used to be.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Folding Cane - Remember something to keep it folded, February 23, 2009

I had to order this when I got out of the hospital. It's a good, solid cane with the helpful more ergo flat handle. If you are buying one I highly recommend buying one that folds up but remind you to bring something along to keep it that way. Apparently the stuff that makes it foldable also make it want to unfold back to its full length. This is funny until it happens at a football game or restaurant or something. Remember to bring a rubber band or something along to keep it folded.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good looking, sturdy folding cane, December 16, 2008

I bought this folding cane, some time ago and am just reviewing it now. It goes with me everywhere. It comes in a clear, plastic carrier which holds it compactly when not in use. When you need your cane, just take it out of the case and with a flick of your wrist, it opens and is ready for use. I am 5'9" and weigh about 190 pounds and it is the right height and sturdy enough to help me when I have to lean on it to walk or climb stairs. It also has a very nice appearance and a very sturdy black handle. My doctor examined the tip of the cane and was very pleased with it and said it was big enough and would not slip.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel Cane, November 3, 2008
After a long drive in the car or after an airplane flight, I am often very happy I thought to bring along this folding cane. Too big for my purse but perfect for a traveling tote. I keep it handy in my car.

5.0 out of 5 stars folding cane works great!, September 16, 2008

The Duro-Med compact folding cane is easy to use, adjustable in height, helps going thru security. I keep a rubber band on the tip to put around the folded cane to keep it compact going thru x-ray screening at the airport. I like the ice blue color.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep it out of sight, May 5, 2010

I walk with a cane, and the one I had been using did the job very well. When I was planning a day-long train trip, however, I started thinking about how the thing is always in the way when I'm sitting down. There is no good place to put it and still have it handy. If I try to lean it against a wall or my chair, it slips and falls to the floor with a nerve shattering "clack!" If I sit there holding it, someone is likely to trip on it. This dandy lightweight cane pulls apart easily into three pieces which fold together to fit into its plastic carrying case. You can put it out of sight in a shopping bag, large purse, backpack, etc., or on the floor under your seat. If nothing else, you can leave it on your lap. It's light and maneuverable but strong enough to support well over 200 pounds. There's a sturdy wooden handle and a non-slip tip. And the pretty floral design? It turns your old grim cane into something kind of fun! (It's adjustable, too!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Ladies Cane, May 2, 2008
By

Duro-Med Adjustable Folding Fancy Cane with Derby Top Wood Handle, Beige FloralTo all ladies that rely on canes to get around! You will love this pretty femanine folding cane. It is so much nicer then the cold looking blaazay silver or black canes. This flowered cane speaks for it self; it's classy and shows that you are special. This beautiful cane is an absolute must have! When not using it, you can fold it up and put in your purse! When you need it again, just take it out and it folds by it self into a awesome cane! One thing though, it does not come with anything to hold the cane together once you fold it, so I use a thick rubber band that I put around it and when not using it I wrap the rubber band around the handle which actually gives me a good grip on the handle. It is still a jewel!

Be sure to check out the cane strap, this has multiple uses and will make your using a cane must less stressful.

3.0 out of 5 stars Light but needs something to keep it folded, January 31, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Duro-Med Adjustable Folding Fancy Cane with Derby Top Wood Handle, Blue Cyclone (Health and Beauty)
This is light and secure but with a few small problem. The handle does not hang off the arm well. If you need both hands, you will have to set the cane aside.

The folding is easy but there is no way to keep it folded. If I fold it up to put in the back seat of the car, it will unfold itself.

I'm looking to make a strap that will let me fold the cane and maybe a hook to hang it.

It is good looking but the handle quickly developed a chip. I never dropped it or even used it much, so I cannot say much about the durability of the handle.

On the good side it adjusts well and has no slippage.

I never thought I would need a cane in my 30's, but after breaking my foot, needed something to help me get around after the crutches. It is as described..foldable, and blue. My kids like it. It is very sturdy. Other than that, what can you say, its a cane!!
