I bought this cane after breaking my foot, when I had to keep weight off of it for 6 weeks. I worked wonderfully. At 6'1" and 230 pounds I was concerned about a "fashion cane" not being heavy duty or tall enough, but this one was perfectly sturdy and adjustable to a wide range of heights.
The handle is smooth wood and the tube is all copper and very, very light. The design isn't really reminiscent of "wood grain", but it is quite nice nonetheless. I received a lot of compliments from coworkers on the beauty of the cane and how classy it looked.
I liked it so much I almost wish I could keep using it, but alas, my foot is healed. I would highly recommend this cane to anyone in need.

This is a great cane and an outstanding value. But just to let you know, the "cyclone blue" is really purple so keep that in mind when picking out a colour. Had I known I would have gotten a different colour but at least I am a girl so it's not embaressing! I have MS and it's really handy to have this cane around. Plus, at 25 years old I don't want an old granny cane!

This is the second cane I have bought from Amazon. Both are identical, easy to adjust and light weight and durable. They both easily support my 250 lbs. Can`t beat the price and service from Amazon. Jim
