This theraband is awesome. It heats up quickly and provides relief for my arthritic joints. Easy to pop in the micro and plot on sore joints. I've had mine for a little over a month and have used it almost daily. Still going storng. Knocked off a star for the scent.It would be ideal to add some lavendar or another natural yet pleasant scent as opposed to the beany aroma.

It works but the heat only lasts for 30 minutes and you have to wait 2 hours before using the therabead pack.

We've tried other heating pads, but they smell really bad after a couple months. It could be that we overheated them, but we haven't been able to overheat this one. It doesn't smell at all. I believe the material that is inside this one is different from the others.

As an R.N., I am aware of the value of moist heat for discomfort. Wetting towels in hot water and wrapping them in plastic is time consuming and messy. This product, after being microwaved, is actually the equivalent of moist heat. It is wonderful for sore muscles and very relaxing. I have gotten two of these now and am considering looking for a larger one. I highly recommend this product for people who use moist heat, or just for relaxing.

I bought one three years ago, and use it every evening, and usually twice a day. I'm buying another one as a backup. It does a great job in relieving my buttock pain. I put mine in the microwave for 1 min, 50 seconds. It's rather hot initially and it stays warm for at least an hour. If too hot, just reduce the microwave time.

works great..put in microwave for 1 min 15 seconds...then on my lower back...works like a charm on my arthritis and spinal stenosis. no odor and certainly a reasonable price.

Has great moist heat. Stays warm about 20 minutes. Would like the ability to immediately reheat it. Would have given it 5 stars if that was possible.

I give it only 2 stars. The only warning that comes with it is NOT to heat it in the chintzy bag that comes with it. For whatever reason, when I heated it for 2 minutes in my microwave last week, it pulled open, spilling therabeads into my oven. That's the second one I've had do that, so won't try another! I'll just use a wet towel in a plastic bag from now on! Wish I could get my money back.

The last one was in a pillow case when it came apart, but this one was just on the turntable.

It's okay, and it does the job, but it's very rigid. - It would be nicer if it was softer and more pliable.

This is a very good product to provide moist heat. It comes with a cover which isn't microwavable. You microwave the pad then put the cover on. It's a thin cover and didn't last long for us. I made another cover. Having previously purchased many other heat sources for my father's use over and over again, I definitely appreciate this one as the more durable and longer lasting pad. I was buying the microwaveable gel one which needed replaced every month! We also tried various electric heating pads but this is the one Dad has a preference for. This pad is not washable except for spot cleaning. So we will still be replacing often (but not as often as the gel pad) as it gets serious daily use. I wish the cover were a little more durable.
