I purchased this product to use on a commode for my handicapped daughter. At the nursing home they use the commodes to give the residents showers. My daughter was always in pain sitting on the commode for that length of time. The vinyl cushion has helped tremendously. I was so pleased to find such a product and for a reasonable price.

I purchased this to add to a commode that I was using for my mom after her stroke. The commode seat is a hard plastic and the vinyl cushion made it more comfortable. It also helped raise the seat height a couple of inches which made it easier to use.
There are velcro straps for attaching it to the seat so it doesn't slip during use. I clean it daily with an antiseptic wipe. I have been very pleased with this product and recommend it.

... to feel comfortable again sitting on the toilet. My son had spinal fusion surgery and afterward, could not take the pressure point pain while sitting on the toilet. This cushion eased that pain tremendously. We also use it on his bath seat when he takes a shower. Highly recommended.

just what we needed

Duro-Med Toilet Cushion
Good product. Only thing I would change is the way the velcro attaches to the seat. It tends to move around when lifting an individual onto the toilet.
