5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent video!, May 8, 2001
By
Nicholas A. Carter (Coal Valley, Il USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: From Dusk to Dawn [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This is a great video of the late Ofra Haza. It features many of her music videos that were seen only in Israel. I wish that it was only available on DVD. It would also be great if they made another video with the rest of her videos. This video is a must for every person, especially if they, like me, love her enchanting, angelic voice.

5.0 out of 5 stars From Dusk to Dawn Shines Brightly - A Great Music Video, April 29, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: From Dusk to Dawn [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Ofra Haza From Dusk to Dawn is a rare delight, a wonderful
music video, that is both very entertaining and interesting on
several levels, especially for viewers who have never seen
any middleastern music videos. As it was made in 1983, it
starts with her singing her Eurovision hit "Chai" at an
air force base, then singing in an open courtyard, and then
at a Jaffa nightclub. In some of the songs dancers accompany
Ofra as she sings. She does a great job singing her early hits including the "frecha" song. A particular delight is a song
from Shirey Moledet One sung at the waterfront near picturesque
boats. Perhaps the most interesting segment is at the Yemenite Folklore club with a very elderly man doing a cute ethnic dance with Ofra as she sings a traditional folk song in ethnic costume. Next is another night club performance from the album "A Place for Me." Then there is a beautiful and ethereal music video with a space travel theme. It ends with another video of her singing a song while rising in an elevator revealing several floors where couples are dancing. The production is excellent, classy, tasteful, and Ofra looks and sounds great in various costumes. A winner all the way.
