Editorial Reviews

Melbourne, Australia s Inverloch, featuring 2/4 of the legendary disembowelment pick right up where they left off close to two decades ago. Inverloch s mini-lp dusk I subside is nothing short of epic, featuring the slow atmospheric mixed with bursts of pounding blast beats that erupt out of tranquil soundscapes which disembowelment first trademarked in the early 1990 s. This is truly one of the most powerful and beautiful pieces of crust/death/doom to come forth through stereo speakers in years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mini-L.P. Packs Infinite Abysmal Blackness August 24, 2012
Format:Audio CD
I know nothing of the band members or their past bands, all I know is I bought this and listened to it three times in a row without realizing it. It's dingy, cavernous, Death inspired Doom, that just wholly encapsulates the best and bleakest of both genres! There's a good deal of quiet to go with the LOUD, and here it works beautifully, setting the apprehension bar so high, you can't do anything but wait for them to stomp your life out with another dirty bludgeoning. Invoking newer bands like Coffins, Hooded Menace and especially Disma, as well as channeling older fare like Autopsy, and being darker in delivery then all of them, this album is a sure way to hook new fans. I don't know when the full length is coming out, but chances are I will be nailed to a chair all day, absorbing that one. If extreme metal isn't your life's blood, you may not be ready for this. If bleak, desolate, despairing Death/Doom is what you seek, look no further, you've just hit the motherload.
