Product Description
This dust collector was awarded "Best Invention" Tools/Hardware at the Yankee Invention Exposition 2004. It cuts the dust produced by contractor/homeowner type table saws by over 90%! It practically eliminates dust, a known carcinogen, in the home, shop and air. The Dust Cutter has a zipped bottom and a shop vac connection making the discharge of sawdust a real snap! It's easy to install and never has to be removed. The unit can be attached to inside either the saw base or the table saw stand which allows for the ultimate in saw portability - cutting indoors on the job site. It fits table saws having base dimensions of up to 24 in. X 20.5 in. including such models made by Craftsman, Skil, Ryobi, Delta, Black & Decker, Makita, Tradesman and others. Dust Cutter Catches 90% of Table Saw Dust,

I have used the Dust Cutter for about a year and it works as advertised. It catches the heavy sawdust that falls under the saw and keeps it it a canvas bag until you periodically pull a plug and empty the sawdust into a trash bucket. I had no problems fastening it under my 30 year old, Craftsman 10" table saw.
The 10% of the dust that is not trapped escapes through the rear of the saw where the belt drive connects to the motor as well as some light dust thrown forward by the blade over the top of the table. This last 10% is very difficult to catch so my workshop is much cleaner now that the Dust Cutter catches most of the saw dust.

This is a must have for table saws! There is hardly any dust with a shop vac hooked to the unit. Why aren't there more of these items out there?

Does not vacuum up large dust particles. They get stuck in the plastic cage used to keep bag open.
