Book Description

Kira Barton is a criminal profiler and Private Investigator. While investigating the deaths of three young women, the serial killer traps her in an abandoned building. With the phantom of death hovering over her, she's saved by an ethereal woman from another realm. Now she's running for her life from wild boars, shape-shifting panthers, masked assassins and a decadent Prince intent on saving her. Together, they battle an army of hardened warriors bent on destroying the kingdom of Locke Cress. But how do they fight this all-consuming love between them---a love that transcends time and crosses all boundaries?

"Moments of intense action keeps the reader on the edge of their seat. The tender moments make you wonder how the hero and heroine will overcome such obstacles. Dust and Moonlight creates a whole new world with sorcerers and shape shifting men and the powerful Mage, that lives only to finish a story of treachery and love. There are actually three stories combined in Dust and Moonlight. The author does a great job with this story of wizards, sorcery and magic."

"In Dust and Moonlight, Diablo brings Kira to another world in another time. A land where her father once lived. Kira has traded one battle for another and is faced with the chance at love that knows no bounds. Her desire to go home is at battle with the desire to stay wrapped in Balion's strong arms of love." 5 Stars

"Dust and Moonlight is a captivating tale that includes magic, mystery, romance, betrayal, and, most importantly, love. I don’t normally like to read time travel books, but the way Ms. Diablo wrote the magical time travel scenes almost makes me believe it could really happen. This book is classified as an erotic romance and the sex is spine tingling."

Dust and Moonlight is a definite 5 star read that I highly recommend to any one with a love for romance, fantasy, and time travel.” Heather's Reading Romance

"Diablo has done a wonderful job weaving this tale of mystery, passion and adventure. With characters that are well developed, well rounded individuals the story flows well and you end up rooting for the heroes and booing the bad guys. Of course you toss in a definitely not typical history for the heroine's parents and it makes for one great story. This book was a real pleasure to read." You Gotta Read Reviews

4.0 out of 5 stars Dust and Moonlight August 29, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I want to say that this book blew my mind. I have been waiting for a long time to read one of Keta's books, and I picked this one for the fantasy factor. I wasn't wowed, but something about this story just pulled me in and I found myself really liking it. I had to give it four stars for the sheer fact that little parts of it made me cry, and the sex scenes made me giggle, blush, and want more. It mentally made me beg for more as I was curled up in my bed reading it till I just couldn't and had to get some sleep to wake up to take my child to a party in the morning.

There really wasn't a lead character that I didn't like. Kira reminded me of a watered down version of Kay Scarpetta that was sucked into a world of fantasy. She was dead set on maintaining her reality, but even rational thought knew that there was no way that she was dreaming. For one Balion is way to hunky and Alpha male to be dreamed up. I swear if that man was stalking towards me with lust in his eyes I would probably do some swooning, then I would get up and slap him (Because that's what half vulnerable heroines do), and then I would strip naked and say `Take me rough and hard!' Why? Because Balion is that damned hot! Even the supporting cast had me wanting so much more from them. They sort of got a half wrapped up HEA so you knew that the book was a stand alone, which sort of disappoints you as far as the story wrap up goes.

For me the story didn't flow. I had a hard time at the very beginning before she was transported to Locke Cress getting into the flow of the book. It seemed very choppy at times and rushed. Like Keta was trying to just get to the fantasy world and be damned with the buildup. A few points in the story I thought had some broken up bits were again there was a rush factor to them.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Penny Ash Review April 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Kira Barton swears an oath to the dead girls she will find their killer. What she doesn't know is that, in her pursuit, she will be hurled into the distant past. Balion, Prince of Locke Cress, knows the forest nymph with lavender eyes will come to him because he has dreamed of her every night...
This book has an interesting story line. With the mix of modern eras, time travel and magic it has a little something for everyone. The only problem I had was with some of the profiling and forensics in the book, but them I'm really picky on my crime fiction, and this is a romance.
I give this one a solid 4 Djinn
