3.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Tune but a Disappointing CD!!, April 20, 2003
This review is from: Dust.Wav (Audio CD)
I enjoy this AVB tune a lot!
It's really nice sounding, especially w/ the vocals. However, I think Radikal records have short changed us w/ this release. First of all, I believe Radikal have [messed] up w/ the naming of tunes.
In the original release of this single back in Europe, they had these versions:
1. radio edit
2. Original mix (extended vocal version of the edit)
3. AvB Rising Star mix (diff than Orig mix in terms of sound)
4. Dub.wav (instrumental version of #2)

Whilst in the U.S. release we got:
1. radio edit
2. AvB Rising Star mix (xtd vocal version of the edit - which is incorrect)
3. Original mix (xtd instrumental version - which is incorrect as well)

Not only all this but, on this CD release we only get:
DJ Encore remix [edit and not the full version :(]
no FAIRLITE remix
no Felipe Inoa Dark Tribal mix
no Dave Gadbois remix
no Breakbeat remix.

This is obscenely ridiculous and somebody should [chew] out the folks at Radikal. This is not fair to the CD buyers. I'll never
get to hear the vinyl remixes ('cause i'm not a record collector unfortunately):(. Thus I only gave 3 stars instead of 4!

I did send some comments to the folks @ Radikal and they still haven't responded. Oh well, my tough luck I guess.

But other then this the tune is awesome w/ some good mixes. I didn't like J&F Harry Hootin mix and F2F Chill mix. Everything else was fine.

3.0 out of 5 stars Solid follow-up to "Sound of Goodbye", May 17, 2003

This is a very worthy follow-up to "Sound of Goodbye," with a lot more remixes. Doesn't have the poignancy of the earlier single, but I'll give it a whirl.
