I looked everywhere for a glider that was both within my budget and really comfortable. I had fallen in love with another Dutailier model that was almost three times the price and ever since, have been wanting a glider that also reclines. This one fits the bill. It's comfortable, easy to assemble and reclines (and you can glide while reclining - not all models allow for that feature). It's not the most attractive chair, but most of the gliders are relatively ugly (IMO), though it's not the worst looking one I have seen either. You can definitely tell that it is on the low end of Dutailier's line: the cushions and fabric, while comfortable, feel somewhat cheap and get very hot (my back sweats if it's the least bit warm in the house), and the chair rocks more than it glides, which is not true of some of the more expensive models. Nevertheless, if you are not in the market for $1500 glider, this is a good choice.

My baby is now 4 months old and we still use this chair regularly and both my husband and I find it extremely comfortable.

Overall I am very satisfied with my qlider. I searched and searched thinking I would buy a less expensive option but in the end I wanted a quality chair that reclined as well. It is very comfortable, though the arm rest cushions don't stay attached very well. Wish it were a darker color, we keep ours covered with a quilt so our 21month old son doesn't completely cover it with stains. Our original plan was to put it in the bedroom for night nursing, but it is sooo comfortable that we have left it in the living room and it is THE chair to sit in.

Love this chair. I bought a bergamo glider for my first baby and liked it. This time around, knowing how great it is to have a glider, I wanted to get one that reclines and had a little more padding. This glider is comfortable and you can recline and still glide. Big bonus. I also like that it has a recline lock as well as a glide position lock. Worth two and a half times the price of the glider I have now? For me, it is. I know I'll be using it for a long time to come.

I spent a long time researching these; we're nine months in and so far so good. I thought it was made in canada but its hecho en chine - kinda of a bummer. Decent chair, although certainly not an heirloom.
