Just ask Larry and Jeanie Walker, who have been married that long as the grateful parents of nine children and three foster children. Add to that twenty-two "awesome grandchildren" and you have the recipe for learning a lot, according to Grandma Walker. In the process of raising these children and providing wholesome family activities to keep the all close and with the desire to learn, grow and enjoy one another, the Walkers have found certain things that work very well, and home cooked "vittles" seem to be at the center of it.

They compiled their first cook book, Dutch Oven and Outdoor Cooking in 1999 and it became an instant success. nearly 10,000 copies of that book have been sold. Their continuing penchant for collecting "all the good recipes people give us" has led to additional requests from friends and others involved in Dutch Oven cooking.

I ordered this book because we have book one in our library but not book 2. There are some delicious recipes in both volumes and my family and I have used several really good one. It also tells you just about everything you need to know about cooking with Dutch Ovens if you're not a pro already. I think my family will enjoy this book for years to come.

This Cookbook is an awesome book! It has alot of wonderful recipes that are delicious and easy to make. The Cookbook along with book 1 (Y2K Edition) are the best cookbooks I have used. They make dutch oven cooking easy and fun. It helps in all the ways needed to make the best dutch oven cooking! I would recomend these cookbooks over any other out their. I even use them in my own oven at home.
