The stories are fun even if they're simple. They have no real significance to the Batman legend, but they're still entertaining. These stories are especially good for a younger reader or someone new to Batman. They're good if you want to see several different villains without reading a lot. The art isn't the greatest, but it is still satisfactory. It's in the same style as the show is in. Although this book isn't a classic, it is still a very good way to spend time if your a Bat fan, particularly if you prefer stories that are less dark than Batman comics normally are. This book is even better than the show is and I think that the show is pretty good. If you're looking for something fun to do, I would definately recommend this book.

OK, I'm just not a big fan of The BatMan series (Not to be confused with Bruce Timm's work. It's not bad, but nothing to write home about. The idea of transferring this material to the comics was a marketing ploy and little attempt was made to expand, or at least augment the t.v. series. After the first issue, I gave up. The art it uninspired as are the stories.
