This is one of the most satisfying CDs I own. The music is absolutely wonderful: full of those irresistable slavic tunes that seem to flow effortlessly from Dvorak. The Vienna Piano Trio have the lilt of it in their bones and every minute is breathtakingly beautiful and wonderfully involving.

Nimbus also provide excellent sound: I have a good hi-fi system and this is one of the CDs I play when I want to hear how good it really is: the sound is very natural with great presence. Yesterday I looked around to see who was turning a page and then realised it was one of the musicians on the CD!

If you love the symphonies and want to explore a bit further, you can't go wrong with this.
