Frederick S. Oliver claimed he transcribed this work under the guidance of a spirit call "Phylos the Thibetan" in 1866. Whether viewed as occult fiction or automatic writing it remains an interesting treatise on Atlantis, reincarnation and karma.

Not really fiction....,
By gary (Minneapolis, MN. 55369) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
I've read this book about 100 times. This book is not for everyone. It is too profound for most people in ways that today's people neither "want" to think about, nor care to think about. Books like this are listed as "fiction," but this is not. If you are of a psychic bent or deeply interested in what is written, this book -- as it had been with me -- was proven-out many times in remarkable ways. As with most things metaphyscial, since "science" seems both "god and king" of our day, who would believe the book -- let alone any of my (proven-out -- to me) words about it? This book has the stamp of the Holy Breath about it. If you are a seeker, reading this won't be a waste of time. Being a "doer" of its universal words will save you untold .... Here is a little question for you (for which you might have the answer) after reading the book: Why is a pyramid a part (the FIRST part!) of the Great Seal of the United States (it's on the back of dollar bill)? NO ONE talks about it! We are ostensibly Not a country of pyramids. And the "eagle" on the other side of our Great Seal (it does appear AFTER the pyramid -- is it really an eagle? It is always seen behind the president. Why not the pyramid? This is the LEAST of the messages which one might "glean" from a study of this book. Greater lessons are in the book.

A classic of esoterica litterature,
By A Customer
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
Great writting, made of a mix of esoterica and novel suspense. Explains detailled culture and history of Atlantis, all this connected with the narrated many lifes, through reincarnation, of the adventure's hero; also some mystical and poetic insights. A classic of esoterica litterature.Don't beleive all this stuf ? You are still left with a fantastic science-fiction/esoteric tale. One of my favorite books.

Important work which details Christian esoterism,

This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
I have studied this book since 1975, and have gained much understanding about esoteric Christian precepts as a result. There are numerous technological descriptions which only hint at the extreme level of achievement during the Atlantean period. It took me some time to fall for the book, but it has held up to disputation on just about every level. If the book were not true, it is an entertaining read, but I strongly suspect that the moral lessons the author is attempting to impart have considerable substance and import. There is considerable weight of evidence, from sources outside the occult communities, which lends credibility to this book. It is not for everyone (yet). aureq@inreach.com
