5.0 out of 5 stars Not really fiction....
I've read this book about 100 times. This book is not for everyone. It is too profound for most people in ways that today's people neither "want" to think about, nor care to think about. Books like this are listed as "fiction," but this is not. If you are of a psychic bent or deeply interested in what is written, this book -- as it had been...

I've read this book about 100 times. This book is not for everyone. It is too profound for most people in ways that today's people neither "want" to think about, nor care to think about. Books like this are listed as "fiction," but this is not. If you are of a psychic bent or deeply interested in what is written, this book -- as it had been with me -- was proven-out many times in remarkable ways. As with most things metaphyscial, since "science" seems both "god and king" of our day, who would believe the book -- let alone any of my (proven-out -- to me) words about it? This book has the stamp of the Holy Breath about it. If you are a seeker, reading this won't be a waste of time. Being a "doer" of its universal words will save you untold .... Here is a little question for you (for which you might have the answer) after reading the book: Why is a pyramid a part (the FIRST part!) of the Great Seal of the United States (it's on the back of dollar bill)? NO ONE talks about it! We are ostensibly Not a country of pyramids. And the "eagle" on the other side of our Great Seal (it does appear AFTER the pyramid -- is it really an eagle? It is always seen behind the president. Why not the pyramid? This is the LEAST of the messages which one might "glean" from a study of this book. Greater lessons are in the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic of esoterica litterature, November 2, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
Great writting, made of a mix of esoterica and novel suspense. Explains detailled culture and history of Atlantis, all this connected with the narrated many lifes, through reincarnation, of the adventure's hero; also some mystical and poetic insights. A classic of esoterica litterature.

Don't beleive all this stuf ? You are still left with a fantastic science-fiction/esoteric tale.

One of my favorite books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Important work which details Christian esoterism, September 5, 1999

I have studied this book since 1975, and have gained much understanding about esoteric Christian precepts as a result.

There are numerous technological descriptions which only hint at the extreme level of achievement during the Atlantean period. It took me some time to fall for the book, but it has held up to disputation on just about every level.

If the book were not true, it is an entertaining read, but I strongly suspect that the moral lessons the author is attempting to impart have considerable substance and import.

There is considerable weight of evidence, from sources outside the occult communities, which lends credibility to this book. It is not for everyone (yet).

5.0 out of 5 stars Hard to believe but it may be true., September 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
This is a book that changed my life. It did for good. It make us think that we are beings on two planets or two worlds at the same time. The world where our body exists and the other world where our spirits or souls also live, deal with diferent experiences and evolve. Sometimes our spirit doesn't evolve and then we have to go back to reencarnation. This book makes people see life diferent. Life is full of challenges and is up to us to jump over, go back or go through them and gain new experiences and knowledge. That is what life is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing illustration of Karma creation and balancing, September 27, 2005
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
This book offers the best illustration of the creation (in a huge way) of karma by one soul in the time of Atlantis, and the details of his subsequent lifetime(s) spent balancing that karma with that other soul.

The book is a tough read.

The first fifth of the book or so is very steep both in languaging and concepts offered.

I think this must act as a sort of "gateway" to weed out all but serious students, because the book as a whole is extremely esoteric.

After that first part, the book settles into a fascinating read.

The book is divided into three distinct books that take place in three distinct places and times.

The identity (soul) of the narrator is the common thread.

If you have read this book before, but not in some time, why not pick it up again and see what it has to say to you this time around?

While searching for the title "Dweller on Two Planets" by Phylos the Thibetan, I came across a second title "Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way" by Frederick Oliver. The front on the first book was blue and on the second it was yellow. The publishers were different.

I bought both books thinking they were two versions of the same book and wanted to be able to inspect both. Imagine my disappointment when they both arrived and they were both yet a third version! Now I have two identical copies. Don't get me wrong, I love this book and wanted to read it for the second time. It has been 15 years since the first reading and am eager to jump in again.

I was curious as to whether the author or publisher had included additional or different text in either version. I am, however, not happy with the way Amazon presented these books on their website. It is very easy to believe based on the way Amazon presents this that there are significant differences in these two titles and there are not. I believe it is the responsibilty of the vendor to present the information so the customer can make an informed purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating Info About Atlantis, August 6, 2005

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
I read this book as part of my research into the legend of the lost continent of Atlantis which is bordering on an obsession for me right now. It's like I can feel Atlantis calling to me from across the centuries.

The writing style is very unusual. It contains many profound statements about Jesus Christ, the meaning of life, good and evil, etc.

To me the best parts were the descriptions of life on Atlantis. These include not only the advanced technology but also the underlying spiritual principles, social structure, criminal justice system, etc.. This information is presented in the form of a first person narrative meaning the author claims to have actually lived on Atlantis in a previous life.

We can call it 'technology' but it was more a knowledge of the fundamental forces of nature. Eventually the high priests in Atlantis (not everyone else) found they didn't need physical air planes and things like this to travel. They could project their bodies to other places. This was just the result of a more advanced understanding of those same mysterious 'night forces'.

Whether or not I actually believe everything stated in this book I would say no. I don't see how anyone could be living on the planet Venus in physical form. We know now that Venus is an uninhabitable, volcanic wasteland. If anyone is living there it's not in the physical form that we are familiar with.

However I do believe in Atlantis and the information presented here is consistent with the statements made by the American psychic Edgar Cayce who I do believe in.

I would say the author had a lot of knowledge about Atlantis and other arcane subjects and was some type of mystic or supernatural being.

Either that or he had done a lot of research in these areas and then constructed a very elaborate and detailed fictional story for some unknown reason.

In any case the story is consistent throughout and doesn't contradict itself. It all seems to make sense as far as how the sequence of events are described.

My own conclusion is this book contains real events and facts about Atlantis which are then embellished to create an interesting fictional story.

Or possibly the author himself really believes it but he himself was deceived by some weird spirit guides.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything old is new again!, April 1, 2001
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
This book is a "must read" for anyone with an interest in Atlantis, reincarnation, or the relationship of soul to mind , to eternity. Written as an autobiography of an enlightened person who is recalling his past lives, it is not only entertaining, but for those who can accept the unconventional wisdom, it is astounding. It is an affirmation that, " what a man soweth... he shall surely reap".

4.0 out of 5 stars The most fascinating deception penned via automatic writing., June 22, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Dweller on Two Planets or the Dividing Way (Paperback)
This is compelling - You will not want to lay down "Dweller." (I finished the 400+ pages in 2 days.)

In the search for spiritual quenching, one could be easily swayed by the philosophies of man and of conniving spirits, or be edified in peace by the revealed truth of God. "Dweller" attempts to quench that thirst with richly colourful prose.

The imagination sparks with utopian visions when one hears the word "Atlantis." The seamless integration of God in a prospering culture is the ideal in which blessings may come to benefit all.

The narrated lead is a youth who grows up to achieve his once high ambitions, but makes a grave mistake that puts his worldly successes in humbling perspective. The setting becomes richly developed with the descriptions of the land and his interactions with its people. The story is entertainingly written with many adventures to get lost in, including a trip in an aerial craft over the Americas thousands of years ago.

An antediluvian civilization once in a state of peace and technological blessings digresses into all manners of wickedness. This degenerated age was an exemplary reason for Noah's Flood. Unless revealed truth is constantly center to our hearts, we will not prosper in the land, and 'utopia' will seem an impossible vision.

As much as "Dweller" proclaims walking in the Light of Jesus Christ, this simplicity is however distorted in its presentation, causing the undiscerning carnal mind to consider believing that which The Son of God did not teach, nor will; for the fullness of his Gospel has already been restored to the earth. Those that know Him know that not all spirits are of God, and that fallen angels do practice to deceive.

If it wasn't abundantly evident hitherto, Book 2 Chapter III contains a notable reference revealing the masked agenda of the book that ironically contradicts its own message. The closing lines also spell out the agenda to those with an ear that can hear--That this writing is a deception that fronts thirsty readers by testifying of Jesus the Christ, while actually pointing them down that wide path to the father of all lies, The Son of the Morning.
