Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Recommended for those who enjoy Lyn Hejinian, Lisa Jarnot, Thalia Field, or Rosemary Waldrop.

From the Author

After reading the final line of Wittgenstein's "Blue and Brown" books, I set the book down and wrote a poem that became the seed for Dwelling. This book explores language through its use. We've all agreed on the naming and meaning of things around us, but still we require context. That learning can never be extricated from its environment. In Dwelling, I hoped to trace how my personal language developed and how it was informed by the space in which it was learned.
