If you're wondering why this DVD is bargain-priced, one viewing will provide the answer. Both picture and sound quality are less than sterling; however, this set is still a good bargain. The viewer is treated to a glimpse of the young Dwight performing some songs which cannot be found elsewhere and, despite the picture and sound flaws, nonetheless offers an entertaining glimpse of Dwight in the early years. Dedicated fans of Dwight will enjoy this one; however, for those who want a better DVD (also at a good price), the "Austin City Limits" DVD is a longer and better set, without the technical flaws. I leave the decision to each viewer's individual discretion; I simply bought both, and am glad that I did so.

If you're a Dwight fan there's no reason you won't want this in your collection. It's Dwight and his band playing inside a small venue in England at the Peterborough Country Music Festival on August 23, 1986. The program lasts 25 minutes and has the following songs:

It's a budget disc so don't buy this expecting great picture quality, which ranks no better than a VHS dub, and the audio won't blow you away either. What's important is that is Dwight Yoakam and if you love everything he does - LIKE ME - then you will definitely want to buy this.

The other customer reviews were correct...the quality is not very good. It's like someone taped it on their personal video camera in the back of the place. It doesn't really matter though if you are a true Dwight fan. The Austin City limits DVD is better (we got them at the same time) but it is fun to see him as he was way back then. I think true fans will enjoy it. Just don't be surprised when you see the quality. No matter what, Dwight rocks. The quality stopped me from giving it 5 stars.

I LOVE Dwight Yoakam and was so excited there was a video available of him and his songs. I was so disappointed when I watched this video!! It was poor video and sound quality. It appeared to be shot with a home video and they had poor lighting. In my opinion it was a waste of money.

This is as the amazonians wrote a little rough in the video images but a must for a true Dwight fans like my mom. He doesn't tour enough so this is the only thing she can get from him live, pardon the expression ma...

Anything by Dwight Yoakam is worth every penny I spend. This video is no exception. The only problem is that it's not the best production it could have been, but it's Dwight, so I love it.
