Dycem Non-Slip Roll - Forest Green - 16" x 3 1/4 feet

This is a great product. It actually does what it advertises. This is a non-slip sheet material that can be cut to any length or size and it keeps items set on it in place. I use it under cutting boards to keep them in place while I am chopping or cutting anything. I use it on lap tables and wheelchair tables to keep items in place.

After a stroke which severely weakened one leg, I found I can use this dycem to hold my weak leg on my other leg so I can put my stocking and sock on. Will never do without it. Also, it is reusable after you wash it in spoap and water.

This is a versatile product, for therapy use and household applications. I got it to prevent the dinner plate from slipping when my post-stroke daughter eats with one hand. It's also handy for holding jar lids while opening them, or preventing coffee cups from slipping in a moving car.

The material is easily washed for reuse.

It does what it claims to do: provides grip where grip is needed. Depending on how often you need to use new strips it's hard to tell how long it will last. It has lasted a very long time for me because I can 1) reuse pieces and 2) use the smallest pieces possible for every job.

Dycem is a non slip matterial that I have used for many years. I was surprised to find this item on Amazon. Finding it on Amazon made it very easy for me to purchase the item along with my books, tapes etc.

I bought the Dycem Non-Slip roll for opening bottles and the like. It far outperforms any of the mechanical devices for opening items.

It doesn't slip on the lids, or your hands!

Arthritis in my fingers, especially my thumbs, make gripping extremely difficult. I've tried all kinds of bottle openers and some are helpful, but none make it as easy and free of pain as the Dycem Non-Slip fabric. I'm an avid cook and gardener and keep 2 pieces in the kitchen, one to hold the bottom of a jar or keep a bowl from slipping, and one to turn sticky lids, I have a piece in my gardening basket, and a small piece in the car to open water bottles or windshield wiper fluid bottles. I was first given the Dycem fabric by an occupational therapist almost 3 years ago and that piece is still in use. It's easily washed with soap and water and when dry is ready to use. This is not the same as the thick grip pads found in many stores. It's thinner and much more flexible making it more useful.

This is an excellent product, and it is a reasonable amount, as big rolls of it, as it usually is sold, is VERY expensive. I use it at bedside. I have one on floor for right foot to prevent my foot sliding out as I get into bed, while another piece at foot of bed holds my left foot in place till my right foot can join it. I am much more secure getting into bed now. I am sure I will find many other uses.

I have used dycem for decades and swear by it. This order was not packaged from the Dycem company and appeared to have been a piece cut off a larger roll but a larger roll did not fit in my budget and the price was better than buying a smaller package elsewhere. I am quite happy with the purchase and money saved. The product is clearly the real thing.
