Very pretty shoe, August 8, 2009
I purchased these shoes for my wedding. I feel that they are actually more beautiful in person than in the picture and have a beautiful sheen to them--if you are wearing a satin dress/gown, these shoes should work beautifully. I feel relatively comfortable in these and I don't feel that they are any less comfortable than any other heel--nothing that makes you walk in an unnatural position will be comfortable, right? However, I don't notice any "hot spots" or discomfort when wearing these shoes--though I haven't worn them for longer than 30 minutes. The only complaint that I have is that there is moderate "crumpling" at the rear of the shoe, around the heel. (Not the heel spike, but the actual portion of the shoe that surrounds your heel.) It's minor, especially since my gown will cover this 99.99% of the time that I wear them but it was something that I noticed immediately when I first looked over the shoes. I doubt there is a fix to this based on the style of the shoe and the material used. It's easily overlooked, in my opinion. And if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive pair of shoes for a wedding or something related, these truly are feminine and pretty.
