Like all of Jason Upton's worship, this CD is fantastic! This CD is a little more deep than catchy up-beat tunes. I loved the intimacy aspect of it. Jason's relationship with the Lord really comes through in songs like Burning in the Sky and Whistle in Your Will. Dying Star is such a powerful song that it will have you seeking the Lord as to your own motives and relationship with Him. Enjoy!

I dunno' man, ..i've been born-again, now, oh, 16 years..God has given me a great passion for prise /worship music, & of all the prise singers i've been listening to , these last 20 nearly years(Larry Norman, Dion di Mucci, Randy Stonehill, Keith Green, the grrrreat , much-loved Rich Mullins, John (& Terry) Talbot, Michael Card, Don Francisco, David Ruis, Barry McGuire, ..you name them)...Jason's music/worship stands with all the afore-mentioned!!!I adored the "Key of David! album ..incredible songs, ..then came the "Faith" c.d. , ..ALL my christian friends/brethren , here in England , have remarked what a stunning album "Faith" was to them!!A revelation in praise times!!This c.d. .."Dying Star " continues Jason's gifted Ministry..it's dynamite to my ears!!The whole album iS magnificent praises to Jesus, our LORD!!tHE TITLE CUT is a great convicting song about NOT blowing your own spiritual truumpets!!What a super/special album this is , & what a mouth God has given him! Jason, we NEED you , in our churches , ..psalm on!!Come to England , we pray !!!!!!!....

Dying Star is Jason's best CD to date. I own about 5 of his CDs. Though all of them are good. This one is the best. Key of David, in my opinion is the second best.

This CD is anointed. The lyrics are challenging. I find myself praying along with the songs. I also find the music the most well thought out he is done. I will be surprised if he ever puts out another album this good again.
