5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Book, November 29, 2004
This review is from: The Dykeman Encounter (Paperback)
Professor Vernon Thornwood sees what appears to be a UFO crash in the woods close to his cabin in Canada. When he goes to investigate he finds a man laying on the deck of the round disk like UFO. Pulling the man to safety, he goes to the cabin and calls his daughter Betty. He needs help getting the man to the cabin.
Calling to of his former students, Charles and Arthur, the professor leads them to the UFO to inspect it while him and his daughter go back to call the police. The ship takes off before Charles and Arthur can get off and before the police can get to them.
When it crashes again in New York. More people become involved. Trying to find out what is really going on the men enter the UFO to find the pilot. He tells them his name is Professor Vernon Thornwood. The men also discover a Sasquatch on board, whom they name Boris.
If you are a sci-fi lover or even if you're not you will love reading this fantastic book. Karl Eckstein has created a story that will hold you captivate through the whole book. It has mystery, suspense, murder and even love. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to see what comes next from this talented author.

5.0 out of 5 stars More, Please, September 22, 2005
This review is from: The Dykeman Encounter (Paperback)
Do you like UFOs and aliens? How about Sasquatch? Or, maybe, mystery and suspense. If any of these appeal to you, or all of them like me, then Karl Eckstein's Dykeman Encounter is just the book you've been looking for.
Not only does Mr. Eckstein weave together all these elements into a fast paced enjoyable read, he does it with obvious skill and taste. In a world to often subjected to foul language and sex for the sake of sex, Karl Eckstein is a breath of fresh air.
How would I sum up this book, a great story teller telling a great story suitable for the whole family.
