We are learning the solar system this year and I bought this as an extra fun activity. Fun to paint, easy to put together. Great buy for the price! It even has a hook to hang when you are finished :)Highly recommend!

My almost six year old daughter enjoyed painting this solar syatem and the assembly process. The instructions are clear. We used an acRylic paint with no problems on the planets.

I used this product with my students. On the package it states this product can be painted on acrylic paint, but or any water base paint. I used the paint supplied by the school, which is water base and pretty thick like acrylic. The paint kept flaking off the balls. Even when the children painted without dipping the brush in water...paint straight from the palette. Maybe it works with acrylic, but if so then it should state use ONLY with acrylic paint. I had to use magic market to cover up the white spots. Not happy.
