Product idea meets the needs of clerical workers who need to time stamp documents but the actual device will not hold up to repeated heavy usage. Ours died in just over a year.

Even under normal handling the cheap plastic casing has has poor vibration isolation, such that repeated usage causes shock transfer to the printer components causing them to fail often, resulting in required "hard resets" (complete removal of all 5 batteries and a engaging a recessed button), which slows down assembly line style workflows. The 3V battery has also been accused of being a source of printer failures though we never had ours long enough to find out. The programing logic is also not very user-friendly and almost always requires the manual to decipher basic dialogues, which few people have on hand when a crisis is present.

There's not much else on the market that does what this does, nevertheless I'd expect a year out of it at the most. Otherwise pony up the cash and get a more expensive machine because, with this one, eventually you'll have to that anyways.

The product istelf works well; however, the item did not arrive when expected. Also, the ink runs out extremely quickly: after 6 days of use, both stampers are out of ink and I now have to order replacement ink cartridges.

I set this up and then tossed out the instructions. I have my son use this to time & date stamp his school work when he has things to do on his own when no one is around to make sure he does things on time. Knowing that I'll be checking time stamps helps keep him motivated to stay on task! Also, I used parent-taught driver ed for my daughter, and we are required to finish certain lessons before getting the permit, and all other lessons within a specified time frame, so I used this to stamp her lessons as they were completed. There are probably many more uses you could find, but I wanted to share our non-business uses of this handy little tool. (We have them at work for business purposes, but I instantly saw its usefulness in our home school!)
