It's very fun to watch my pre-k son build the structures he sees on the box as well as some unique designs. Seeing the cranks turning in his head makes the higher-than-expected price much easier to overlook.

Magz are definitely my favorite brand of this kind of toy. They aren't as flashy as some of the others, but they are high quality. Some other brands (like RoseArt's Magnetix) have the magnets slip out of the rods, or are not manufactured to as strict a tolerance, so your structures end up having gaps between some of the steel balls and their rods. Not with this brand. Everything always fits perfectly. The materials seem to be high quality as well. The rods seem very durable. The cuballs are a nice feature as well, allowing stable squares into structures as well as tringles (not as stable still, but it works just fine in almost all cases still, and it's nice to have the option). I would highly recommend this brand over any other without any hesitancy at all.
