I'm not a Microsoft products fan. However, as project manager, I know that MS Office Project is one of the best standalone tools on the market (and this is no a reference for Project Server). So I decided to learn more about the tool. I asked few colleagues for recommendations and all of them mentioned this one. Book is clear, easy to follow, with examples (not nicely included as part of the reading). Book is great! You got details, tricks and an excellent experience-transfer reference.

Excellent resource that explains what to do, how to do it, and the rationale behind it.,

I've found this book to be an excellent resource that walks the reader through the development of a project schedule. The book not only indicates how to build the schedule, but also the varying approaches to doing so, and then provides a recommended approach. This adds a bit of depth that I've not found in other resources, and helped me understand varying perspectives. Most other books that I've read typically focus only on a one-dimensional approach.
