Dynamics of Isshinryu Karate Blue and Green Belt Book 2 is a well informed martial arts book for any Isshin-Ryu practitioner. It gives you step by step instructions on how to perform kata. I advise it to be used as a reference when one is learning the kata from your Sensei. Do not atempt to learn the kata to perfection from reading this book and mimicing the movements shown in the numerous images. It is best to be taught the movements from a Dojo then use the book as a check back if you forget a technique. This book will also help you expand on you knowledge and use your martial arts skill to come up with different bunkai for each movement. Highly recomend this title for and beginer who will decide to be devoted to the art and to any advanced Karate-ka for one tends to forget if one does not practice.

Dynamics of Isshin Ryu by Long. This was the 1st book I ever purchased for Isshin Ryu. (small pictures and small book but well informed for martial arts students.)I ended up buying 2,3 both because of the low price. Easy to carry and read on the "go".
