This book by first-time author Larry Farris is a definite read for anyone interested in the sociological perspective of small town ministry. Pastor Farris has real-life examples and writes in a thoroughly readable and enjoyable prose. I highly recommend this book to anyone who care about small towns, churches, and the people that are involved with them. I hope to read more from Mr. Farris.

Lawrence Farris wrote an excellent primer for those who are serving or will serve in a small town. Common sense stuff and a easy read. Write more, Mr Farris!!!
