It's a must,

Jermaine's catalog has never been well represented on CD- even his albums that sold well remain out of print. So this collection is essential to anyone with an interest in his underrated solo work. Great track selection: all of his post-Motown hits, with highlights being the full length 'Dynamite!' and 'Give a Little Love' from PRECIOUS MOMENTS (which should have been a million-plus selling album, but strangely wasn't. Jermaine didn't get too many breaks as a solo artist!). Bad points: as a "special products" release, the sound is a little less than stellar, with bare bones packaging and even 2 glaring typos on the song titles. But the price is right, and with so little Jermaine material still available, one has to take what one gets. Also look out for his only recently out-of-print Motown collection.

This man is so powerful on his Encore Collection CD, songs that you may have been missing are so available here. The energy that's felt during his delivery is contagious to say the least! Often as a pick me up I'll listen to Dynamite, and I get pumped up. Again Jermaine comes through and shines royally!!!! Jermaine is the bomb!!!!!!!!

This review is from: Dynamite: Encore Collection (Audio CD)
the motown hits one is way better.but this one is alright.Jermaine Jackson is a talented artist.a solid bass player and an alright vocalist.Don't take it personal,Dynamite,i think it's love,do what you do stand out.some of these songs are very dated with the over the top Synths&drum machines.but all-n-all a pretty good collection on a very talented artist.

Uneven Album but Some Gems,

"Do What You Do", an introspective ballad, and the fast moving, dance floor "Dynamite" and "Sweetest Sweetest" are three very pleasant and enjoyable songs.
I would probably recommend one of the albums by the Jacksons that came out about that same time, Torture or Victory, over this one.
