I would encourage my teachers to incorporate these videos across the curriculum- writing, reading, science, etc. to reinforce basic skills.
Product Description
Each Dynamotion video consists of six interactive music-driven movement segments and five fitness breaks that follow a particular theme such as nutrition, sports or science. Dynamotion is not an aerobics class, but a complete education about the body, drawing from a variety of disciplines including life science, physical science, mathematics, social studies, and music.
Dynamotion is designed as a proactive health literacy campaign created for children during their formative years. Through a grant from the National Institutes of Health, scientific research shows that Dynamotion teaches children how their bodies work and how to keep them healthy. Electronic media is here to stay, so why not use them as tools to increase physical activity and promote healthy eating habits and behaviors? Dynamotion is all about kids moving to music, learning how their bodies and muscles work, and most importantly, having fun! -- Amy DeLouise, Anice Hoachlander, & Tyler Whitmore co-creators of Dynamotion
