I've been playing guitar for over twenty years, but have only been playing classical seriously since last fall. The traditional recommended posture actually strained my back somewhat, so I started researching different guitar supports. After getting the Dynarette, I knew this was the best decision for my body, and also for my playing. After spending some time with it, I settled on a particular placement that facilitates more comfortable and focused playing. It allows me to have a more physical connection with my instrument, where I can hold more of the back of the guitar against my torso.
I use the large Dynarette every time I play classical guitar, and I have found it to be a very ergonomic tool that takes pressure off your body and improves connectivity with your instrument. I recommend it highly.

Better technique, no back problems,

Love it! I used to use a guitar foot rest but that resulted in back pain after just 15 to 30 minutes of practice. I bought this cushion and put aside the foot rest. With the cushion, I can sit straight, keep both feet on the floor, keep my spine straight and still have my guitar in excellent position for flamenco and finger style playing. I bought the large size. It raises my guitar 5.5 inches. There is also a small size that will raise your instrument 3.5 inches. This is one guitar accessory that is well worth the cost.

I think I permanently twisted my back as a teenager trying to learn to play a classical guitar because I would twist my tall frame around this little classical guitar. After taking up guitar again after thirty years, with this cushion my posture now is much better and I am much more comfortable. The cushion is well made and has a very good shape to encourage a good guitar position. It functions really well. I'm very happy with it. It is even better than I had hoped it would be when I bought it. I would recommend it highly to any tall guitarist.

Works great for me. The large seems to be about right for me at 6'0" with a tall torso.

My teacher Maria Zemantauski is teaching me Flamenco guitar. She pulled out this fantastic little device while I was using a footstool. Both were providing the same end: raising the guitar.
I got my Dynarette today and have played for over an hour with no back strain whatsoever. Really, really worth every penny if you are a classical or Flamenco guitarist who favors the Sabicas posture. Superb!

I'm happy with this product. It's well made, seemingly of very fine leather, and carefully designed, and also includes a carrying bag. It takes a bit of getting used to but I now find it very comfortable and secure. I am using it along with a foot stool on the lowest setting.
I never much liked the high foot stool approach but needed a high position in order to get the guitar into a good playing position. This seems to create much better physical balance, and is almost certainly healthier for the body.

This device is manufactured nicely with quality vinyl and good stitching at the seams. The non slip strip of fabric on the bottom is very effective and when positioned on your thigh it stays in place. There is a zipper on the bottom which allows you to take the foam insert out but I don't see why you would ever have to do this. The price is a little steep but the quality is evident and I am not sorry I spent the money.

no need to purchase expensive guitar chairs, this item forces you to sit properly straight up and hold the guitar in the correct position, no more sore backs... I just recommend it 100%

I've used this for years, and it is so much better than a foot rest. Helps to keep good posture.

I'm 5'6", and it doesn't feel awkward to use this with my guitar. It does the job. 'Nuff said.
