Ordered this product from MED-ICAL in November of 2010. The price for 300, including shipping, was $59.18. The price today, Jan 14, 2011, is $75.45 - quite a jump in 2 months.

I emailed the company asking why it cost so much more now. The email responder said it cost so much because it was heavy. I know, that makes no sense to me either. So, I emailed back asking if I understood them correctly....the 300 pads shipped in November weighed less than the 300 they would send now? Their response was yes. Yep, the idiot actually said YES....it weighed more now than it did two months ago!

I kept looking and found that SuperMedical offers the same product and count for about $10 less.

The only good thing I can say about MED-ICAL is that the Nov order was a great product and a good price, and most important, the paperwork they sent with that order provided me with enough info for me to track down detailed info on the item I received. Now I know the exact product I want: DYNAREX 1346, 60grams, 23 x 36. It is thick, quilted, absorbs liquid down to the bottom layer and maintains more dry space on the top, and never leaks.

Amazon sellers make a point of NOT providing the brand's product number or grams absorbed for these pads.
You never know what you'll get. And what is worse, you may get a good product in your first order; but when you go back to reorder, chances are you will receive a different product that is of poor quality, but at the same price you paid for the better product....the old bait and switch. I have gone through this several times, and of course the product is too expensive to return so you just keep it and try a different supplier the next time.

Before you order Dynarex pads from any company, call or email the shipper to verify just what product you will receive. The 1346 is the BEST pad Dynarex offers; the next being 43grams absorbed. There is a big difference between their 43gram and their 60gram products. You will go through a lot more of the thinner pads.

As an aside. There are a lot of expensive pad holders on the market. They all have cute names and they are all over-priced. Go to one of the big pet supplier stores and buy a plastic replacement tray for a large wire dog crate....the size tray that will hold a 23 x 36 inch pad....(just take a pad with you and see how it fits in the tray). The last time I bought one it was only $12.49. The tray has about a half inch lip and holds the pad in place and protects your floor and looks nice as well. The tray is light weight, won't rust, and is easy to wipe clean with a peper towel....just in case your pet manages to get urine beneath the pad.

Find out what you are buying, go for the most absorbant pad at the best price and verify the product before you order and again before you reorder. It is a pain to have to verify the exact product each time, but doing so will save you money and get you a better product in the long run.

I've never been more disappointed in a product purchased online. I use the underpads for my inside dogs. This is the first and last time I'll purchase this brand. They are supposed to be absorbent, what they are is a sheet of thin paper similar to tissue paper on top on a sheet of plastic. There is no cotton, no layers to keep moisture in. It simply spreads. I set one of these sheets, to call it a pad would be an inaccurate description, next to one of the other brand I've purchased and poured a 1/2 cup of water on each. The water completely spread across, filling the pad and dripping when lifted. The same amount of water on my other brand, filled a small space and was contained when lifted.
These are worthless, a tremendous waste of time and money. The only value was the quick shipping by the vendor.
They do not look like the ones in the picture on the website. Buyer beware of really good deals.
Sorry Amazon, I'm disappointed that you allow this.

We use these pads to put down in the area our dogs will stay in while we are out--they're economical and work fine. Company sent them promptly. No problems.

These are the worst pads I have ever seen..they are sooo thin they are of no use!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My puppy is testing this product for couple months now and I am very satisfied with results. Pads never ripped up. They are very absorbent and liquid never spilled out from the pad. This is a good buy. Great price!
I recently bought wee wee pad tray and soft pads hold in perfectly. Easy adjustable to any tray size I believe.

These pads are great. I bought them for my two small indoor dogs. They can go through up to 4 Target store size puppy pads a day between the two of them. These are twice as big and more absorbent. So I use maybe 2-3 per day. I like that they are big because it gives them more room and less chance of side-spill accidents. I was getting tired of having to go to the store all the time for more pads so getting 300 of them is great. They had fun playing with the big box too. Will buy again when we run out!

I've ordered these before, and they are great, but for some reason I had delivery problems this time. Ordered from another supplier and got it the same week and paid .01 shipping!!

I use these for the bottom of my aviary to keep it clean and easier maintenance. They're a great size for what I need them for, they're not too bulky, and they are the cheapest that I found with this bulk price. This will definitely be my source to purchase more.
