Junk - Don't waste your money,

This review is from: Dynarex # 3333 White 12-Ply 3" x 3" 100 Sterile Gauze Pads (Health and Beauty)
Tissue thin. These gauze pads are advertised as 12-ply but are only 4-ply and that's of a thin gauze with a very loose weave. Maybe if you put three or four together you've got a useful pad, but that makes them about double the cost for a quality gauze pad at the drug store.
Don't waste your money.

Inexpensive but poor quality,

This review is from: Dynarex # 3333 White 12-Ply 3" x 3" 100 Sterile Gauze Pads (Health and Beauty)
The review by M.P. Gill for the very similar DKL1312 - Sterile Gauze Pads, 3x3, 12 Ply, 100/BX, White is very apt for these Dynarex gauze pads. Like those pads, these Dynarex pads are also made in China (maybe by the same manufacturer), and are extremely thin and porous.
In comparing them to 4x4 CVS brand gauze pads (which are also made in China), I'd estimate the Dynarex pads are only about 1/4 as thick (i.e.; four of the Dynarex pads stacked together are about as thick as one CVS pad). The CVS gauze pads I bought comes in a box of 25 and sells for a couple dollars less than these Dynrex gauze pads, so depending on how you use them, these turn out not to be a very good deal. In other words, these Dynarex pads aren't very cost effective for dressing larger wounds, but they're pretty practical when folded several times for smaller jobs (e.g.; for use in your mouth). One final thing to note though: these pads have a chemical odor to them. I'm not a sterile gauze pad expert, so I don't know if this is normal or what, but the CVS brand gauze pads that I have (which are also sterile) don't have any noticeable smell at all.
