5.0 out of 5 stars Heavy duty nitrile gloves.
These gloves are of good quality, fit well on a very large male, are comfortable, and feel very durable. I use these when spraying weed killer either from the hose or directly from a hand-pump. These are a great option between latex gloves on one end and heavy duty kitchen or dish-washing gloves on the other. Of course, note that there are 100 gloves and not 100 *pair* of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality but they smell funky
Okay, first off I have been using nitrile gloves in the kitchen for several years now. I am a passionated cook but I do not like to touch raw fish and meats. The gloves prevent me from direct contact with the meat while they also help me keeping a sterile, germ free and clean environment.
Those gloves are perfect fit and great quality BUT they do smell really funky...

Should be obvious, but some may not be aware of that.

This review is from: Dynarex Black Nitrile Exam Gloves, Box/100 (Health and Beauty)
I typically use microflex brand of gloves, but I was looking for a prime eligible product to save on shipping. When I opened the package I was a bit skeptical because they are manufactured in a developing country and the box had cheap graphics. Hey, I know a cheap looking box is not supposed to matter, but most of us have been conditioned to believe that quality packaging meant a superior product. After putting them on and using them a bit I found these gloves to be very durable and fairly chemical resistant. They are perhaps the most durable disposable glove I have ever used. Anyway, they're my new favorite brand, and I'd highly recommend you try a box.

Okay, first off I have been using nitrile gloves in the kitchen for several years now. I am a passionated cook but I do not like to touch raw fish and meats. The gloves prevent me from direct contact with the meat while they also help me keeping a sterile, germ free and clean environment.
Those gloves are perfect fit and great quality BUT they do smell really funky when they come out of the box. The smell is best to be described as smelly tennis socks or mildewy clothes. So everytime I want to use my gloves to cook a meal I have to put them on and then vigorously scrub my hands with soap for 5 minutes to get rid of the smell.
I have previously just quickly washed my hands before preparing a meal but then the funkyness carried over to my food and made my food taste and smell mildewy and disgusting.
I guess it depends on what you want to use them for but they are not great for kitchen use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ugly, but they work., August 25, 2010

I usually buy BLACK MAGICs gloves for year now, but thought I would try another brand since I only get a half a days use before they rip. Sometimes I get lucky enough to reuse the next day. Well this product when taken out of the box looks like a black Safeway plastic bag. Its not sleek and form fitting like BM. This looks like an 90 year old mans hand. Its not pretty. I liked that BM looked like it was a second skin.
These gloves seem thinner but work just as well.
If you're looking for a tight fit that looks good on your hands get some Black Magic, if you dont care then these are just as good and save you a couple bucks.

used a few pairs already to work on the car. changes all sorts of oils and fluids, took the gloves on/off a few times and they stayed in one piece which is pretty impressive for me. Only thing i would have done differently is gotten the XL size.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good gloves for EMS, September 22, 2011

I am a paramedic in Guatemala, and I had gotten tired of using latex gloves that would rip whenever I had to handle rough stuff. We sometimes have to lift heavy materials, our gloves get rubbed against asphalt or other rough surfaces; and latex gloves never survived this. It is a drag to find out after the emergency, that your glove ripped at some point when you were working. I've used this gloves for a couple emergencies now and so far so good. Not a rip yet. They are comfortable and feel good. We'll see how it goes.

I use these gloves for cadaver lab, and their thickness is much appreciated because I don't come away with that smell on my hands. They do smell like the fluoride at the dentist's office, so if you don't like that smell, these might bother you a little. I like them.

4.0 out of 5 stars good long-lasting protection while doing exacting work, March 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I use these gloves while doing art. They keep my hands clean and free of toxic pigments, while allowing me to do fine work as if I had no gloves on. They also last a long time, unlike latex gloves. I reuse the gloves for many painting sessions. Their only drawback is that they do not breathe. If I wear them for a few hours, my hands perspire. But I don't know of any gloves that would protect like these and still breathe.

4.0 out of 5 stars will get the job done!, October 15, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
first off am a Automotive technician and go through gloves like a chain smoker if you get my drift. Ive always used SAS Black Raven Gloves (also found on amazon) for a while now since its one of the gloves i found to be the BEST for my needs but a little pricey.

These came across as a cheaper option for work. Right off the bat i notice the thickness is no where near Ravens 5mil, these have to be about 2mil am guessing. they dont take much abuse either hence the cheaper glove per. fitment is good but i would advise you not to pull or stretch the glove too much cause they do rip real easy. i use these when am doing a oil changes or cleaning parts something that doesnt require much abuse. for tougher jobs i pull out the Ravens instead

for the price your getting a very decent box of gloves you cant really go wrong with.

I use these for wood refinishing. I also use those lightweight latex gloves for quick jobs. These black ones are much sturdier and last on longer projects, especially where there is more abrasive action. Glad I got them.
