Super easy, Super inexpensive! - works GREAT in Linux
If you have an older PC that needs USB 2.0 support, these cards are PERFECT! I needed some USB 2.0 ports for a couple of older PCs I have so that I could backup to an external USB drive. One is running Linux and one is running Windows XP. I powered them off, installed a card in each and booted them back up. I did not have to load any drivers at all, but the folks at...

Defective product
I was unable to use this product, as the packaging was open and the CD was missing. We attempted to download drivers from the Internet, but that didn't work. I had to request a refund.

installation was straightforward, once I cleaned the contacts with an eraser. The USB2 device that was the reason for the purchase now works fine.
