1.0 out of 5 stars No good
I plugged it in, hadn't set it up in a computer yet, and I hadn't even bridged the power good cable to test it yet. When I touched a metal part it zapped me pretty good.

Also, I wonder why best buy is selling this safety hazard for $60, that's an insane markup for something this cheap.

We have purchase many of these power supplies (about 33) of them and only 1 has been defective.
These are TRUE 400-watt ATX power supply units. They are well constructed (we disassembled one),
are heavy (about 6-7 pounds), and can support most motherboards (about 90 per cent). They come
with most modern connectors including a PCI-e 6 pin connector, a 12 volt 4 pin motherboard connector,
a 24-pin main board connector which includes a 24- to 20 pin adapter for older motherboards.

These power supplies can even accomadate some of the newer more powerful motherboard 8 pin 12volt
connector (just insert the 4pin into the 8 pin slot of the motherboard that will fit it - its failsafe against
plugging it in incorrectly). The only motherboard (that we tested) that will NOT power up with this power
supply was a ASUS P4T533-R and the ASUS P4T533-232. These motherboards require a minimum
of 550 watts to power up and use the old RAMBUS interface (184 pin and the 232 pin Rambus Memory
Modules). Also, if you use a 140 Watt CPU, it will most likely fail to power up the Mobo. We tried
4 of these CPU's (AMD Athlon II and Phenom II) and only 1 powered up of the 4. Otherwise, it
will easily power up a 45 watt to 125 watt CPU.

I've got two computers I've put this Dynex power supply into and I love the results. Souped-up speed and they're super quiet. I can always find one of these guys at a good price too. Good, stable parts at a good price. I wish all parts were this cost-effective and high-quality.

It's a perfect fit for a Dell XPS 400 without having to modify the tower casing. Installation is simple. Cables are ample length and possibly too long, but that's not a drawback. It's extremely powerful and runs very quietly if you keep your heat well and fan casing clean. Great buy!

Just a replacement PSU for one of the kids machines. It worked right away and it continues to work for a compulsive 13 year old gamer. Good price = can't go wrong.

That was my first impression when I pick the product up at my local Best buy. It had some weight to it for cheap power supply. I was really pleased when I got home and open the box. Looks like a well built solid PSU.

Pick up some zip ties with this PSU to tie up cables your not using.

No problem at all fired right up! This went into my son computer AMD 6000 3GB RAM two 80GB 7200 hard drives one DVD and 8800 GTS 640 MB graphic card. 92mm cooling fan and three 80mm all hook to a fan controller.

Purchased Used - Works as a new one - excellent value! Quiet. Impressed that they still had the original box to pack and ship in. Up and running in the PC using to write this review.

Do not think that you will get a bad PSU for this low price. I actually bought it because my other PC had this exact same power supply and it never gave any problems so I decided to buy it for a new self-built PC. It just works great!

I've had it for a few months and it works, And it was really cheap so im happy. Don't know what else to say..it's not loud. It has plenty of connectors and came with an adapter for a sata drive I think. One tiny problem is it's bigger than my old one so it was kinda hard to fit in my case, but this shouldn't be a problem unless you have one of the really small cases.
