Book Description

June 1, 2009
A research team at Dyodyne Labs has developed a remarkable new technology: a microscopic computer system with the ability to secretly track people with pinpoint accuracy. The system, code-named DaNA, is transmitted as a benign virus that passes the tracking system to all who come in contact with its host. The government sees the system as the perfect way to track down a criminal's accomplices, making it invaluable in bringing down the drug cartel. But when the biggest terrorist attack in U.S. history devastates New York City, the Department of Homeland Security orders the team to launch the untested system to find those responsible. What they uncover is unthinkable-six nuclear bombs hidden in six major cities. And the bombs, controlled by a powerful underground alliance, are part of a much larger global conspiracy. As the team at Dyodyne rushes to track down the terrorists holding the country hostage, they discover yet another threat: DaNA is mutating and may be impossible to control.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dyondyne Experiment, August 2, 2009
This review is from: The Dyodyne Experiment (Paperback)
What a great book, I loved (and hated some of) the characters immediately! Interesting plot that keeps you hooked until the very end, I couldn't put it down.....especially liked the "realness" of many of the Dyodyne characters, several times I thought, "I know someone just like that." Can't wait to see what happens next.....

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Piece of Literary Dessert, June 24, 2009
This review is from: The Dyodyne Experiment (Paperback)
Jim Doulgeris has produced in The Dyodyne Experiment a wonderful piece of literary dessert. The characters are dynamic and you quickly get interested in their lives. Plus, they are just plain fun to get to know. The plot moves along with just the right amount of detail and surprises. Jim also brings enough real-world scientific expertise to give this novel a good sense of plausibility like many of the great international intrigue/science fiction writers. I look forward to the sequel.

This is an extremely intelligent and well written novel. It is an exciting read and well worth the time. The detailed research and unique premise lend itself well to a novel of this genre. I enjoyed it thoroughly and offer it my highest recommendation. I cannot wait for the second installment.
