If you are thinking of getting this kit to use in a car like I did be forewarned that the DC31 loses too much power with the hose attached, making it useless. Don't get me wrong! The other 3 accessories are great but the kit is hampered by the hose and may not be worth the cost if you factor out the hose. (these attachments should have come with the DC31 for the price it cost)

I bought this kit AFTER buying the Dyson handheld ("Animal") model. I found that I just couldn't get the maximum value out of the machine without these accessories. I am now extremely pleased because my Dyson (handheld) can do many more cleaning jobs more efficiently. If you're going to spend $200.00+ dollars on a handheld Dyson, these tools are a must!

Makes the DC-31 or DC-35 much more versatile. The flexible hose is indespensible, allowing you to reach places that were previously imposible to access. It also stretches amazingly. For a quick and dirty way to store all the attachments, consider a row of coat hooks or make your own with dowels.

I bought this primarily for the dusting brush. Definitely worth the cost but wish the dusting brush was larger...it is 4-5 inches. I use the extension hose when using the handheld in the car...that is a must if you want to use the vacuum in the car.

I love Dyson products because they work. Not having to change bags is wonderful to me. Living in the desert dust is a major problem. With the hose and softbrush attachment dusting is soooo much easier. I would give it 5 stars if it were $15-20 cheaper.

I had my Dyson DC31 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner for more than 6 months before I bought this tool kit. It is worth the extra cost. It really expands what you can do with the DC31. Spending nearly $300 for a handheld vacuum cleaner and tool kit may give some people pause. But if you like to keep your space clean, at home and in the car, this is the way to go.

Dyson once again shows why they are number one, these accessories are a must have.

If you have a Dyson, you will want these attachments. It makes the vac a lot more useful.

Tools for adding functionality to the Dyson handheld are great add on's. Helps with those things like cleaning under furniture when you can't get there with the regular extension wand, under tables, and other not easy to get at areas when you don't really ant to move everything in the room. A great addition when you need it.

I sent this back without even opening it, as the mini Dyson comes with sufficient attachments I think... not worth the extra money
