Main problem is that it does not lock into the Dyson slot/catch for the attached tools.Would not have ordered if I knew it would not stay attached to the vacuum cleaner.

I scored a DC7 for free and I just needed to give it a good cleaning and replace the tools and hose - it's now like brand new and runs great.

I can tell you that this will fit into the holder on a DC7 perfectly

Since the crevice tool is the most popular tool on our Dyson, it was the first thing to get lost. When I finally realized I could order a replacement, I decided to order two! This *snaps* into the appropriate compartment in the handle and works like a dream. Ahh..

THIS DID NOT FIT MY DC15 AT ALL! THE OPENING WAS TOO BIG, AND THE ONLY WAY TO KEEP IT ATTACHED WAS WITH MY HAND. DUCT TAPE WOULD HAVE WORKED, BUT IT WAS BEING RETURNED TO SELLER.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this. As others have mentioned, it DOES NOT STAY ATTACHED to the slot on the side of the vacuum. Now it surely will become lost in the closet.

I have posted a picture showing it does fit a Dyson. I own a pink Dyson and have been missing the crevice tool since my last move. It fits perfect and has a tint of sparkles. I love it and you can't beat the price. It arrived early and is awesome!
