Dyson DC07 and DC14 Aftermarket Swivel Dusting Brush

This brush isn't soft like my original Dyson brush that broke. The bristles are hard and not flexible, so when you try to vacuum anything that is dusty, the dust gets stuck on the bristles and clogs the brush. I wish I had purchased the real Dyson one. It wasn't worth saving $10 to get the aftermarket one.

Gotta like this. In an ill-conceived effort to "help", I vacuumed up some crumbs around our stove. There was a rebel crumb holing up near the stove top burner, and well, you guessed it, the burner was still warm and it warped the Dyson brush attachment. I ordered this new one to replace it. This is a better product--the bristles are longer and softer. Probably not heat resistant, but I'm not going to test that.

It fits the Dyson hose and sucks up dust, but it does not fit onto the toolkit so I was always looking for the thing. Finally broke down and bought a factory replacement from Dyson. It's not like I want to carry it around in my pocket while I vac the house... It they put a slight bend in it (I doubt the design is patented...it's a bend for goodness sake) so that it fit the toolkit I'd have given in 5 stars.

I lost my original brush and figured it would cost $30+ to replace. This one was much cheaper. You can tell it is a cheap knock-off, but who cares? It's just a dusting brush for a vacuum. Works fine. The swivel is a little tight but it works.

Bought this as a replacement for the Dyson orignal brush that my Mastiff ate. The brush fits properly into the storage socket on the machine and onto the wand. The bristles are softer than the original so it is better for the more delicate cleaning but not as good at cleaning the inner corners on bookshelves and so forth.

what can i say? it fits, it works and it was a great price. hopefully its less tasty to my dog than the original.

It's barely large enough to fit the hose for the Dyson Vacuum. I can get it to go on about half way, and as long as I'm careful it will stay on, but if I had it to do over again, I would have paid more and bought an actual Dyson part that fit correctly.

This works for what it needs to do. Note that this is not as firm a brush as the Dyson brand brushes. For a fraction of the price it works just fine, though.

Don't waste your time and money on this product. It's substandard in quality and doesn't even fit (I used tape to hold it up). The bristles are sparse and don't feel like vacuum attachment bristles. Feels more like a cheap toy than an actual cleaning tool.

It is worth paying the extra cost to get an oiginal Dyson replacement brush. This after-market brush gets clogged with lint and needs to be manually cleaned constantly. The bristles are thin and sparser than on the original. I suppose the only redeeming quality is that it snaps into the brush holder on the vacuum.
