We upgraded to a Dyson Pink recently. We love how easy it is to remove and dump the canister and the amount of dust it picks up. We live in the desert where dust is a common invader and covers everything in the house. This vacuum gets up more dust than any other we have owned. The filters are also easy to remove and clean. The design is attractive too. I gave this vacuum 4 stars instead of 5 because the wand is a bit cumbersome when trying to vacuum in tight areas. Perhaps a different design for the wand would make it a bit easier to use. Also, the vacuum doesn't come with a practical attachment to get underneath beds. All in all, it's a good little vacuum for regular household cleaning.

This is definitely a great vacuum!! Great features, great suction, and I love it in PINK! Definitely worth the money.

We bought this DC07 in pink because a)our 7 year old hoover windtunnel v2 died, and b)it was on sale for 350 and my wife likes the fact a percentage was donated to breast cancer research.
Well, I unpacked it and gave her a test run, and when i first turned it on it made a grinding noise. Uh, oh, broken? I trurned it off and restarted, it was fine. And wow did this thing suck up crap! Our Hoover must have been dead a long time cause this thing got tons of loose carpet crap and dirt. I like the attachments and long cord too! It was so easy to push and it's light too. I recommend one highly. Price is a bit high but I am hoping worth it in the long run.

I have wanted a Dyson for years and finally this was the year I got it! I just purchased it on a Black Friday special and so far have used it just twice. I would prefer a higher model (and a different color) but this was such a great bargain that I couldn't pass it up!

The only negatives I can see right now is some of the plastic parts look cheap like they could break easily if pulled the wrong way and the hose/wand doesn't look that easy to use (but I haven't actually tried yet).

I think any Dyson you can get will work great! Some features I have noticed: easy to assemble, with absolutely no tools needed, cord is longer than my previous vacuum, washable HEPA filter that never has to be replaced, easy to remove clogs, great suction, and an extremely simple no-mess way to empty!

On my first vacuuming, I filled the entire canister! I was so mad at my previous vacuum because I could see stuff that it would not pick up. It's very nice to have a vacuum which leaves the carpet feeling so clean under foot! I love Dyson - The Vacuum That Never Loses Suction!
