I was looking for a new mouse. Me being the cheapskate that I am, $20 (at the time of the purchase) was the most I wanted to spend on a new mouse. So upon searching Amazon I found the E-Blue Cobra Junior. I went to youtube and found a bunch of positive user reviews on the blue model. I said why not, the red model looked like it would match my red Saitek Cyborg backlit keyboard. I get the mouse about 5 days later. It comes in a nice box. I included several pictures of the packaging in the customer images. What's in the box? The mouse and that's it. There is no drivers disc, but that's okay because the mouse is plug and play. Just plug it in to a "rear usb port" and it will download the drivers from the internet. The Cobra Jr. lights up right away. Looks just right next to my Saitek Cyborg, the red illumination matches perfectly like they were made to complement each other. It's a medium size mouse, I have big hands and i'm use to a larger mouse, but this seems to work just fine and i'm already used to it after only a day. You have 3 choices of DPI, 400, 800 and 1600. I leave it at 800 since that's what i'm accustomed to. The DPI switch get's brighter the higher the DPI is set to. Button's feel nice and responsive. The scroll wheel works great, very responsive. Doesn't need to be broken in like with some other mice i've used in the past. I would also like to mention that the mouse includes a 12 month worldwide warranty. Now for some very minor negative aspects. There is no way to turn off the light on the mouse, this may be a problem for some, but not for me. The side buttons area little sensitive, they may take some getting used to. I also wish the cord was a bit thicker (once again i'm just being real nit picky) but for the price I paid, I can't complain.Read more ›

This mouse is good for casual gaming. I recommend a better mouse for hardcore MMO games.

There are just 2 buttons on the side that are easily accessible.

Great mouse for casual games.
I use this mouse for League Of Legends and it works perfectly.

I seriously am impressed with this mouse. Not only does it look cool, but it works very well. The buttons are all very responsive and are easy to click. Don't be fooled by the foreign company and the price, this mouse is great and in my opinion it's a hidden gem!

Pros +
-Sleek cool design
-Buttons work great
-Sweet Red led light that looks awesome
-Very responsive with 3 dpi settings that can be changed on demand with a click of a button that also has a led light that gets brighter the higher the dpi is set.
-plug and play.
-Durable and tough usb connector.
-Cord is also pretty durable and does not grip on my desk.
-Scroll wheel feels good and is easy to scroll with.
-Side mouse buttons are easy to reach.
-Does NOT feel cheap, but well made.
-Low price

Cons -
-The Led light does NOT ever turn off even when your computer is turned off. (may be an issue for some)
-Led light may be too bright for some.
-Instructions came in Japanese, but since it's plug and play i guess it doesn't matter, haha.

I love this mouse, the LED light never turning of does not bother me at all and the pros well tower over these 3 minor cons. I highly recommend this mouse to web surfers and the casual gamer(s) who don't need a billion buttons. I hope my review was somewhat helpful to you possible buyers, cheers!

it was a perfect mouse, i loved it, comfortable, sleek and awesome, but after having it for less than half a year the left click is now doing the double click... its already worn out and needs to be replaced

Worked for 2 or 3 months and then began double-clicking when I single-clicked randomly. Made doing anything pretty much impossible.

The mouse was okay when I first got it, but within two weeks it began double-clicking on occasion. A little annoying but manageable. Now it double-clicks every time I single click. I can't click on files, drag, close windows, or make selections without the 2nd click messing me up. It would have been a good mouse otherwise, but as it is this is unusable.

I noticed that on one of the E-Blue mice, in the title, it says beware of counterfeits. Well, after careful inspection, I noticed that compared to the picture where the Cobra stamp at the bottom (bottom of wear your palm lies) glows red, mine does not. It's just a stamp. Also, my DPI button is black, and not clear/glowing like on the picture. This mouse feels cheap. Not sure if I got a counterfeit, or E-Blue made a batch of slightly cheaper mice. I noticed that a customer uploaded images of the mouse box. Mine came in a plastic bag with no labels or anything. It was fulfilled by Amazon, so I thought I didn't have to worry about counterfeits or at least, products that don't look like their picture.

EDIT: So I reordered from another seller. This time, the mouse came in a retail box, and I've got to see, you can really tell the difference between the potential counterfeit and the mouse pictured in this posting. The original item may actually be a cheaper version made by E-Blue, but nonetheless, the item I got the second time is what is pictured. It looks exactly the same. The major difference with the second mouse is that it feels more sturdier and not cheap. It weighs noticeably heavier, which is great. It also isn't loud. Cheap mice tend to make a lot of noise. The first one was really loud, and this second one is standard. Also, as described, it has 3 DPI settings. The first mouse had 4 DPI settings. The side buttons to go back and forth in browsers on the second mouse is also correct. It was backwards on the knock off. The stickers on the bottom of this mouse also fit the outline where stickers are supposed to mouse. The first mouse had a giant generic yellow sticker on the bottom. If you go to the actual E-Blue site, you do see a picture of a Cobra Jr with a similar sticker. Either way, the first mouse isn't what I paid for, knock off or cheaper E-Blue mouse. I bought my second mouse from Maomi Fan.
