I love this belt. I bought this belt as a replacement to one I bought in 1997 and have worn every day since. Alas, after 12 years the buckle finally failed. I was very happy to see that Eagle Creek still makes this excellent belt. Besides for being just generally a great belt, one thing I really like is that there is no metal on the belt so I don't have to take it off everytime I go through a metal detector. I highly recommend this belt.

I wore this belt in Peru. It's comfortable and safe. It has a terrific cam latch unlike the crummy bar locks on GI web belts. Get one. It's great.

This is merchandised as not needing to remove the belt during security checks in airports due to it's plastic buckle. Hence, our reason for buying it. However, after using it thru numerous airports this summer, it was still always necessary to remove the belt as it triggered the alarm because of the metal zipper in the back. It is not as easy to remove as a leather belt. Do not misrepresent this as such in the future.

The belt is basically a strip of weaved nylon with a cloth zipper pouch on the back. The zipper handle is larger than the belt so it hangs down and makes it obvious that these a zipper on the back of the belt (hello!). I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

This is a great belt for traveling. It goes through the metal detectors without a problem, it is always a tight fit, and the buckle is very strong and always holds for me.

The weak link is the flimsy plastic buckle. The buckle is difficult to open. I was afraid of breaking it the first time. It is really a cheezy product and not worth the price. Usually, the web belts come with a brass buckle. I am disappointed.
On a positive note, you can cut off the cheap plastic buckle and replace it with a brass buckle.

This belt is absolutely incredible!

You can use as advertised and you don't have to take it off while going through metal detectors...which is really handy.
I can keep $1,200 in there comfortably at any given time (in $100 bills of course...not $1s).

This is coming from Slovenia......the belt is not bad. Buckle a bit awkward but works. TSA was not impressed and I had to take it off at SFO Airport.......I think that was due to going through the new Xray scan.

I bought this belt for travel out of the country. It works great and is of good quality. You need to fold your bills quite small to get them inside, and you don't want to over do it or it will stick out like a sore thumb, but I carried 10 bills inside with no problem at all.

HIGH QUALITY AND LIGHT WEIGHT. ZIPPER SMALL AND LONG BUT GOOD TO HIDE MONEY IN TRIPS.
