Conforms to any ear size. One-piece, seamless white plastic. Lightweight. Specially molded to fit under the patient's ear. Autoclavable up to 250 F and/or coldsterilizable.

This is your basic ear irrigation basin, molded in white plastic with a slightly rough surface that makes it easier and more pleasant to hold than most I've used. It also seems to be more substantial, and I expect it to last for the remainder of my career or until somebody "borrows" it and forgets to return it, whichever comes first. I have a feeling that it'll eventually lose the snappy-looking bright white finish, but that seems to happen to all plastic ear basins. If you're equipping a medical office, you don't have to get every small piece of equipment from the big surgical-equipment companies, and you can save a small but welcome amount of money by breaking out of the mold.

I work in a family practice. This basin is a valuable tool in rinsing out ears. I was not able to find a replacement for the one we had in the office until I checked with Amazon. Glad I did!

Works well for ear lavaging.I like having soft plastic instead of the stainless steel I was having to use. I would like it to be a little wider but it does work.
