I love this book and bought one for each of my sisters! It was recommended to me by someone who cooks for a living. I know that at my age I will not dramatically change what I eat, so finding recipes for what I eat that lower salt and sugar and still taste good is great. Marlene has included great information and introduced me to new spices and ingredients to replace or reduce salt and/or sugar. I have tried many recipes and enjoyed most. You eat your favorites and look forward to the meal. She includes comparisons to similar restaurant recipes showing nutritional information and each chapter includes information about food groups.
