My wife and I just took ours on a week-long vacation. We charged both our iPads and iPhones with it, in hotel rooms and in the car. It worked perfectly every time. Very handy tool.

Great product- The only reason I bought a new one was to replace the one I wore out. I travel extensively and use this charger constantly, so 2 years is a lot of abuse for a charger. I have bought several others as well and they don't have the flexibility or features. Incase is it.

I have purchased two of these and both of them are now exhibiting a high pitched hissing sound while plugged into the wall outlet. It does not emit this sound in the car. My other complaint is that the supplied cable is too short. I purchased the belkin charging kit "[...]" which I am much happier with because it does not exhibit the hissing behavior and it has a longer cable.

My good friend recommended this InCase combo (car & ac) charger so I got it last year. I ended up not getting an iPad until the iPad 2 came out. I immediately took out my charger having never used it only to discover that it worked the first few times then one day it just wasn't charging. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the side where you plug in the USB to iPad 30 pin connector was coming loose and thereby causing the charger to fail. I pushed the side with the USB connector back into the body of the charger and it worked but it was clearly not going to stay put. I was fortunate (or thought I was) because although it was just past one year from purchase Best Buy replaced it and I only had to pay a couple of bucks more. Now after only a couple of months it's doing it again. Same problem. Taking it back and hoping they will make me whole. Bummer because the design is nothing short of excellent but the construction fails miserably. I'd recommend you avoid this charger like the plague.

We've took three iPods, and iPod touch, two iPhones, two Nintendo DS, and an iPad with us on our last vacation. That's a lot of Apple electronics to keep charged during a 10 hour car trip. The Incase 2-amp Combo Charger for iPad/iPhone/iPod - Black kept the juice flowing while we drove through Pennsylvania and Ohio. Because it provides a USB plug we could also charge the non-Apple electronics. Incase provides 2-amp on the USB connection ensuring that electronics charge quickly. The only downside is that the USB connection is on the top which makes it difficult to have anything else plugged into the wall jack when the Incase is in use.

This charger worked great for me while plugged into the car. The charging rate seemed to be much faster than my old charger and I liked the feel and ergonomic design.

When I plugged it into the wall at home, however, it emitted a loud humming sound. I took it back to the Apple store where the associate and I tried another which did the exact same thing. That simply doesn't work as I charge my phone when I get home at night beside my bed. If you charge your phone in a spare room, then I would recommend this product. Otherwise, go for something else.

Hi, I purchase this item, because of the convenient wall and car charger. The wall charger works and charges fine. However, the car charger does not work. I tried different outlets in other cars also. BTW, I have and iPhone 4 and the two cars I tried it on was a VW GTI and a Mazda 6.

I have only used this with my ipod nano and it works great as described.

I tested this charger with little or no use while charging. Tested charger in car and my battery life stayed the same after a 40 minute drive. Next tested at a local bookstore and the same outcome.... battery life remained the same. Last test, plugged into wall socket at home for an hour, unplugged the incase combo charger and my battery life remained the same. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Haven't had a problem with it not charging anything. I was a bit surprised by it's size when it arrived. Even though there's a photo with the standard DC plug it still caught me off guard. Not a deal breaker, but it adds some bulk to the backpack I keep it in.
