My second pair of Boston Slip Ecco shoes. My first pair lasted two years and cost me $200 at a local Dillards. So imagine how nice it was to find them 1/2 price on Amazon! But they are wearing out so quickly I wonder if I got counterfeits. After just a month or so there is serious wear on the tips, and on the backs where my heel slides over the top of the shoe when going in. Also, they seem less comfortable then I remember. It's hard to be on my feet all day in these things, and that really was the best part of the first pair. Then again, I might just be older as far as that goes.
I paid 1/2 price on Amazon, but I don't think I have a $100 pair of shoes, much less ones that retail for $200. It's a suspicion, and I have no way to prove it, but I don't think they are real.
I wish I could post a photo of the wear and tear.
