Most comfortable, warm, pair of boots I have owned,

This review is from: ECCO Men's Dhaka Mid GTX Hiking Boot (Apparel)
Took these snow camping to break them in. I couldn't believe how warm and waterproof these were compared to my old LL Bean GTX Speed Guide Hikers.
I like a lot of support, both through the tongue / ankle, and the arch. I'd say this boot is slightly softer in the ankle, and has only moderate arch support. I tend to be an over pronator, and feel any lack of support fairly quickly the next day. However, on the first day out, hiking in the snow for hours, and standing on my feet while camping, these boots never hurt, pinched, etc. The next day, more of the same, and still no issues. I didn't even notice them. Extremely comfortable! |
